The EXTRAS directory contains 2 folders, 'images' and 'rawdata.'

IMAGES Folder
-------------
The 'images' folder contains 5 subfolders corresponding to the 5
samples for which data were acquired.  Each folder contains 4 images.
Using sample AREF 235, wavelength = 530 nm as an example:

aref_235_530.i_all.jpg = 'top hat' figure showing radiance factor
(z-axis) as a function of the scattering geometry. (Radiance factor is
the ratio of the radiance from the sample to that of a perfect
lambertian standard illuminated normally). Each figure is for a single
incidence angle (i = 15, 30, 45, and 60 deg). Emission angle increases
radially from the center (e = 0) to the edges (e = 80 deg). Azimuth
angle is 0 deg at the far right and 180 deg at the far left (the
opposition surge occurs near zero azimuth).
 
aref_235_530.i0.jpg    = plot of the radiance factor versus emission
angle for i=0. 
 
aref_235_full.tif      = image of the sample in the sample container
(FOV ~ 6cm).
 
aref_235_1cm_fov.tif   = close-up image of the sample taken with a
digital camera and halogen light, FOV = 1 cm.

Also in this folder is an image file, GlassSpheres.JPG, which is a
graph showing a comparison of measurements made of a powder from the
B.U.G. and the long arm goniometer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory
[HAPKEETAL2007 in CATALOG/REF.CAT].


RAWDATA Folder
--------------
The 'rawdata' folder contains the raw instrument data for those who
desire to check the supplied corrected reflectances and/or apply a
different algorith to remove the effects of scattered light.

This folder also included the file, 'rawdatainfo.txt,' which contains
additional information about the raw data.
