                    DOCUMENT Directory Contents

The DOCUMENT directory contains documentation files for the Mars
Exploration Rover Operations RAT EDR archive.  All files ending in
".ASC" are plain ASCII text files, which are viewable on any host.  The
".HTM" files are HyperText Markup Language files, viewable with most web
browsers.  The ".PDF" files are stored as Adobe Portable Document
Format (PDF) files.  To read these, you will need the Adobe Acrobat
Reader, which is available for free from "http://www.adobe.com".  The
".LBL" files are PDS formatted labels describing the other files of
the same name.

The following files are found in the DOCUMENT directory:

DOCINFO.TXT          - The file you are now reading.

                     OPS_EDR_RDR_SIS.PDF files.

RAT_EDR_SIS.HTM  - HyperText version of the "Mars Exploration
                   Rover Rock Abrasion Tool Experiment Data Record
                   SIS".  This document is a software interface
                   specification describing the format of the MER
                   RAT EDRs. Images in this document are stored
                   in the subdirectory RAT_EDR_SIS_FILES.

RAT_EDR_SIS.PDF  - Adobe PDF version of the RAT_EDR_SIS.

RAT_EDR_SIS.LBL  - PDS label describing the RAT_EDR_SIS.ASC and
                   RAT_EDR_SIS.PDF files.

MER_TIME_ISSUES.TXT - An explanation of time-tag-related issues in
                   MER data products.
