                       INDEX Directory Contents

The INDEX directory contains a tabular index file accompanied by a
detached PDS label, intended for spreadsheet or database use.  The following 
files are found in this directory:

INDXINFO.TXT    - The file you are now reading.
INDEX.LBL       - Detached PDS label for INDEX.TAB.
INDEX.TAB       - Index table listing all the products in this archive.
REPROCESSED.TXT - List of products that have been reprocessed since they
  were first released.

                   Notes on Using the Index Table

The index table in this directory contains one row (or record) for each 
product in the archive.  Columns in the table are separated by commas, and
character fields are enclosed in double quotation marks (").
Character fields are left justified, and numeric fields are right
justified.  Each record ends with ASCII carriage return <CR> and line
feed <LF> characters.  This allows the table to be treated as a fixed
length record file on computers that support this file type and as a
normal text file on other computers.

The ".LBL" file is a PDS label that describes the content and
structure of the columns in the tables, including column name,
format, and description.
