Among the revisions is this additional text: "Caveat ====== The CGS data released on October 1, 2003, covering the January 1, 2003 to March 31, 2003 time frame, have been processed in a different (more rigorous) way than the previously released CGS data. All data were processed through the correction algorithm in the same way as the previously released CGS data. The corrected spectra were then summed over 1 week, 2 week, and 4 week intervals. A linear fit was calculated to find the gain and offset. The ratio of the new gain and offset numbers to the original gain and offset numbers were then used to re-correct all the spectra. There are two very important differences between the CGS data released for January 1, 2003 to March 31, 2003 and the previously released CGSs: 1. The gain and offset fields in the newly released data will not be 0.625 and 0. They will be the gain and offset values needed to correct the spectra to a gain of 0.625 and an offset of 0. 2. The newly released data has been calibrated correctly. THE PREVIOUSLY RELEASED DATA SHOULD NOT BE COMBINED WITH THE NEWLY RELEASED DATA IN ANY WAY. All CGS data will be replaced with the new more rigorous correction method in subsequent PDS releases." August 26, 2003.
