This file is required by the PDS and is a standard component of an archive. The directory also contains the MD5.TAB file which contains an MD5 hash value for each file in the archive. ============================================================================= DIRECTORY CONTENTS ============================================================================= INDEX.TAB This is a tabular-formatted text files that contains an entry for every product in the volume for which there is a PDS label. The records are of fixed length and contain a fixed set of fields of fixed length and delimited by commas. This table has the following columns (fields). Not all of the fields will be applicable for every file. In such cases, the fields shall contain a "N/A". This file is accompanied by a full PDS label. The fields: VOLUME_ID The volume ID of the archive. This will be the same for all files. DATA_SET_ID The data set ID that identifies product files with the levels of processing. PRODUCT_ID The product ID as given in the file's PDS label. This field associates related files. PRODUCT_VERSION_ID This is a number (e.g. "1.0) that indicates the version of a specific product. FILE_SPECIFICATION_NAME The full path to the file PDS label relative to the root directory of the archive. PRODUCT_CREATION_TIME The time that the product was created in UTC. START_TIME The data collect start time, if applicable. Otherwise, this field contains "N/A". STOP_TIME The data collect stop time, if applicable. Otherwise, this field contains "N/A". SPACECRAFT_CLOCK_START_TIME Intended to contain the start time of the product as indicated by the on-board clock in SPICE encoded SCLK form. Since this value is not available for Mini-SAR products and is always given as "N/A". SPACECRAFT_CLOCK_STIP_TIME Intended to contain the stop time of the product as indicated by the on-board clock in SPICE encoded SCLK form. Since this value is not available for Mini-SAR products and is always given as "N/A". ORBIT_NUMBER The number of the orbit during which the data collect began, if applicable. It is a five-digit field padded with leading zeroes. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- spice_index.tab This file contains an index of the SPICE kernels included in the GEOMETRY/data directory. It is a standard NAIF archive product and is accompanied by a full PDS label. This file and its label are generated by a NAIF-provided utility. The index file contains the following fields: START_TIME STOP_TIME FILE_SPECIFICATION_NAME DATA_SET_ID PRODUCT_CREATION_TIME RELEASE_ID RELEASE_DATE KERNEL_TYPE_ID PRODUCT_ID VOLUME_ID ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- MD5.TAB This file contains one record for every file contained in the archive. Each record consists of two fields. The first field is an MD5 hash value for the file created by the md5deep program. The second field is the full path of the file relative to the root of the archive. This file is intended for data integrity checking. It is accompanied by a full PDS label.
