It is a 360 X 180 grid from 89.5 to -89.5 degrees latitude, and 0.5 to 359.5 degrees longitude. The array values are crustal thickness in kilometers. A complete Bouguer correction was applied to the lunar gravity field, using the newly derived topography from Clementine. Additional corrections were applied for the added mass of mare basalts, using the thicknesses given for eight major basins in Solomon and Head (Reviews of Geophysics, v. 18, p. 107-141, 1980). The resulting Bouguer anomalies were then inverted for the topography of the lunar moho (Mohorovicic Discontinuity), assuming a constant density crust (2800 kg/m3) and mantle (3300 kg/m3). The difference between the inferred moho topography and the surface topography is referred to as the crustal thickness. Smooth downward continuation of the Bouguer anomalies to a 61 km mean depth to the moho matches the 55 km crustal thickness obtained at the Apollo 12 and 14 landind sites."
