Content Description of the CATALOG Subdirectory

The CATALOG subdirectory on this volume contains documentation for the
Magdalena Ridge Observatory LCROSS observations. It includes files that 
describe the data, the instrument, and the observatory, along with personnel 
contact information and references.

Files in this directory are ASCII text files. They are called "catalog files"
because they are used to populate the PDS online search catalog.

DATASET.CAT

    A description of the data set.  


INSTHOST.CAT

   A description of the Magdalena Ridge Observatory 2.4m telescope.


INST.CAT

   An overview of the camera system used for the acquisition of the data.


MISSION.CAT

   An overview of the LCROSS mission.
   
   
REF.CAT

   A listing of references used elsewhere in the catalog files and of 
references that might be generally useful in working with these data.


PERSON.CAT
   A listing of key people involved in analyzing the data and in producing 
the archival data set.
