Bundle Overview
===============

This bundle consists of two collections of calibrated ASCII data, from three
months in 1975, and documentation for the Heat Flow Experiment (HFE) which was
one component of the Apollo 17 Apollo Lunar Surface Experiments Package
(ALSEP). The collections are:

- Apollo 17 ALSEP ARCSAV Heat Flow Experiment Calibrated Gradient Bridge 
  Temperatures Collection (1975-092 to 1975-181):  Contains two fixed-width
  ASCII tables of fully processed, calibrated temperature data: one table 
  for each of the upper gradient bridges (thermal sensors) on Probe 1 and
  Probe 2 of the Heat Flow Experiment (HFE) at the Apollo 17 landing site.
  The time span is 02 April through 30 June 1975. These data were derived
  from raw measurements extracted from NASA's original Apollo Lunar Surface
  Experiments Package (ALSEP) archive tapes, also known as ARCSAV tapes.

  Temperatures Document Collection (1975-092 to 1975-181):  Contains a
  document that describes the ASCII products in the data collection above.
  It explains the file formats and references publications that are relevant
  to understanding these data.
