Bundle Overview
===============

This bundle consists of two collections for the Lunar Ejecta And Meteorites
(LEAM) Experiment which was one component of the Apollo 17 Apollo Lunar
Surface Experiments Package (ALSEP). The collections are:

- Apollo 17 ALSEP ARCSAV Lunar Ejecta And Meteorites Experiment Raw Cleaned 
  ASCII Data Collection (1975-092 to 1975-181):  Contains 79 daily ASCII
  tables of raw measurements acquired by the Apollo 17 LEAM from 2 April
  through 30 June 1975. This collection also includes ASCII tables of
  LEAM-related command verification and raw analog housekeeping data. These
  ASCII files are transformations of raw binary data extracted from NASA's
  original daily Apollo 17 ALSEP Archive Tapes (known as ARCSAV tapes)
  spanning April through June 1975, then cleaned for obvious bit errors.

- Apollo 17 ALSEP ARCSAV Lunar Ejecta And Meteorites Experiment Raw Cleaned 
  ASCII Document Collection (1975-092 to 1975-181):  Contains a document that
  describes the ASCII products in the data collection above. It explains the
  file formats and references publications that are relevant to understanding
  these data. This collection also includes: a document that explains the
  film ID numbering convention used in the raw science data products; and the
  Fortran programs used by the data provider to transform the raw binary LEAM
  data to ASCII for this archive.
