MESSENGER Ground Calibration Data Archive

This volume contains ground calibration data for MESSENGER instruments EPS,
FIPS, GRS, MAG, MASCS, MDIS, MLA, NS, and XRS. The data on this volume are
"saved" data in PDS; that is, they do not constitute a fully compliant
peer-reviewed PDS archive, but PDS is saving the data to preserve it from
being lost. Saved data files are required to have only minimal PDS labels 
and documentation.

This volume contains a directory for each instrument's calibration data. 
Each instrument directory contains documents in both ASCII and PDF formats 
that describe the instrument's ground calibration. Each instrument directory 
has a DATA subdirectory containing the data products, which may be further 
subdivided in an instrument-specific way. 

Calibration data are present as text files, comma-separated-value tables, 
fixed-length-record ASCII and binary tables, and FITS images. Each data 
file is described by a detached, minimal PDS label.
