                Advanced Products EXTRAS Directory Contents

The EXTRAS directory within the Mercury Laser Altimeter (MLA) advanced
products MESSMLA_2001 data volume contains JPEG format browse images for the
Gridded Data Record (GDR) map products (also known as the MLA DEMs). These are
stored in the EXTRAS/BROWSE/GDR directory and have a *.JPG file extension.

These JPEG browse images correspond to products contained in the GDR product
directory and are intended for user convenience. These are not to be confused
with the JPEG 2000 (*.JP2) products contained in the GDR/JP2 directory.
