This directory structure holds copies of data sets from other PDS nodes and special non-PDS data sets.  

The primary purpose of these directories is to support the Orbital Data Explorer.  Although users can
directly download data from these directories, users are encouraged to use the Orbital Data Explorer 
(http://ode.rsl.wustl.edu/) to access these data.

Mars Science Lander Candidate Landing Site Data Sets
The MSL Candidate Landing Site data provide a collection of special data products generated by various 
individuals and teams to support the selection of the Mars Science Laboratory's landing site. This 
special data is non-PDS data although they are often derived from PDS data.
