High-level Description: Loose, grey basaltic vesicular a'a fragment from Lava
Butte. Clast shows a gradation in internal morphology from heavily-vesicled,
with significant pore space (left), to massive (right). Vesicles are up to 1
cm across; many are stretched and deformed (e.g., image 1250).

  Grain morphology and appearance: Grains are sub-resolution.
  Grain size and sorting: Grains are sub-resolution. No sorting evident.
  Grain fabric:  Random orientation; unimodal.

Sediment structure:  None.
Color:  Grey.
