High-level Description: Unit 7. Large grey, gritty accretionary lapilli (~5
mm). About 20% of lapilli are smaller (about 2 mm). Lapilli are spherical and
clasts are smooth and rounded. There is no distinct layering or matrix, and
small and large lapilli are poorly sorted.

Texture
  Grain morphology and appearance: Grey, granular-textured or gritty
accretionary lapilli  with a few light-colored grains intermixed.
  Grain size and sorting: Poorly-sorted accretionary lapilli 2-5 mm diameter.
  Grain fabric:  Random orientation.

Sediment structure:  None evident.

Color:  Grey, black, white.
