Sample is highly vesicular and angular, with rounded edges. This clast is dark grey with rust-red stains and traces of opal precipitate on some surfaces. Vesicles are evenly-distributed throughout the clast and are nearly spherical, except in areas where they interfere with each other. Vesicles are as large as 2 mm, although most are around 1 mm. Texture Grain morphology and appearance: Highly vesicular, angular sample with rounded edges. Silica-rich coating is present in small isolated patches on the surface. Vesicles are evenly-distributed throughout the clast and are nearly spherical, except in areas where they interfere with each other. Vesicles are as large as 2 mm, although most are around 1 mm. Grain size and sorting: No individual grains visible. Grain fabric: None visible. Sediment structure: None. Color: Dark grey with rust-red stains; whitish precipitate coats small portions of the surface.
