Clast is grainy, black-dark brown, has a smooth, but knobby surface, and is 1.5 cm in diameter. Grains are dark to light brown, vitreous, sub-round to sub-angular, and 0.1mm in diameter. Texture Grain morphology and appearance: Sub-angular non-scoria clast composed of ash and larger grains. Clast has a grainy texture, black-dark brown, has a smooth, but knobby surface, and is 1.5 cm in diameter. Individual grains are dark to light brown, vitreous, sub-round to sub-angular, and give the clast its characteristic texture. Grain size and sorting: Grains are about 0.1 mm in diameter. Grain fabric: Random orientation. Sediment structure: None. Color: Black to dark-brown.
