High-level Description: Black, angular, vesicular scoria clast. Vesicles are
nearly spherical and are between 1 and 3 mm. There is no pattern to the
distribution of vesicles. Material between vesicles is glassy and has very
sharp fractures. At the edges of fractures and in thin areas, material is dark
brown.

Texture
  Grain morphology and appearance: Black, very glassy sub-angular scoria
clast, 2 cm in diameter. Clast is nearly spherical and very vesicular with
sharp, fractured edges. Vesicles are nearly spherical and are between 1-8 mm,
with most vesicles being ~1 mm. is no pattern to the distribution of vesicles.
Material between vesicles is glassy and has very sharp fractures. At the edges
of fractures and in thin areas, material is dark brown. There is some
pleochroism in the vesicles.
  Grain size and sorting:  No grains visible; glassy.
  Grain fabric:  No grains visible; glassy.

Sediment structure:  None.
