Clast is grey, sub-round to sub-angular. Vesicles are nearly spherical, and average 2 cm in diameter. From the angle at which the image was taken, ~30% of the volume of the float is vesicles. Texture Grain morphology and appearance: Mosaic of vesicular float (img 3803-3806). Vesicles are large (average size greater than 1 cm) and nearly spherical. Material between vesicles is finely crystalline (there are no visible crystals) and is smooth on the outside of the float, but has sharp edges within vesicles. Grain size and sorting: Sub-mm grains, with some stretched fibers (img 3803). Grain fabric: None. Sediment structure: None. Color: Grey.
