High-level Description: Unit 3. Poorly-sorted layer of 1-2 mm diameter angular
airfall particles.

Texture
  Grain morphology and appearance: Dark grey, sub-angular particles in a
clast-supported matrix.  Texture is rough and rubbly.
  Grain size and sorting: Poorly-sorted clasts 1-2 mm diameter
  Grain fabric:  Random orientation.

Sediment structure: Parallel lamination.
Color:  Grey with a few white grains.
