High-level Description: Unit 13. Draped, laminated layer overlying surge layer
(Unit 12). Unit is comprised of fine to coarse ash. Larger grains up to 1 mm
are interspersed. Brown to orange angular grains.

Texture
  Grain morphology and appearance:  Angular to sub-rounded ash grains in a
clast-supported matrix. Larger grains are interspersed throughout the Unit.
Texture of larger grains is rough and rubbly.
  Grain size and sorting:  Poorly-sorted; coarse to fine ash, with larger
grains 0.5-1 mm diameter interspersed.
  Grain fabric:  Random orientation.

Sediment structure: Parallel and cross-bedded lamination.

Color:  Brown to orange grains, with black and grey grains.
