Layer 6, 300 m west of Keanakako'i. Scoria with higher crystallinity and
variable vesicularity. Deposit is not cohesive, but scoria clasts are in a
more cohesive ash. Scoria are black to rust-red, where redder, more weathered
clasts have smoother surfaces. Ash is dark grey. Most scoria fragments are
approximately 2 cm in diameter.
