From the top to the bottom, there is a well-consolidated, thickly bedded ash, followed by a poorly consolidated scoria layer about 40 cm thick, which overlays a finely-laminated, well-consolidated, light grey ash layer, 20 cm thick with internal layers just over 1 cm thick. This ash is followed by another poorly-consolidated scoria layer, whose largest clasts are 2-5 cm.
