The solar monitor (detector #4) measured the range from approximately 1 to 3 keV, divided into seven equal intervals. In all four detectors, an eighth channel recorded all X-ray events with energies higher than the upper level. The solar monitor data from Apollo 16 were considered usable. There were no saturation effects as found in the Apollo 15 data."
