<description>Video with audio taken by the astronauts as they used the
LSRP to perform index runs 4 and 5 of the Apollo 15 Soil Mechanics
experiment. Index run 4 is captured on film; run 5 is off camera.
The video begins at a mission elapsed time of about 148:23:03 which
corresponds to approximately 01 August 1971, 17:57:03 UT. For index
run 4, the LSRP with a 0.5-square-in cone is used in the rover tracks
directly behind the vehicle. For index run 5 the penetrometer with a
0.5-square-inch cone is used adjacent to the rover tracks. The
associated data tables are DATA/A15_SMSS_71_M016935_013.TAB and
        DATA/A15_SMSS_71_M016935_014.TAB.

This movie is an MPEG-4 conversion of a Real Media (RM) file publicly
available in the Apollo Lunar Surface Journal (ALSJ) at

Please note the times listed for this video are approximate elapsed
times from the mission transcripts at the start of the video and

For the PDS4 migration, the original RM (Real Media) files were
