This data set consists of files that contain: continuous, 24-hours-per-day, seismic data from Passive Seismic Experiments (PSE) for Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, and 16 from deployment until 29 February 1976; normal-bit-rate ALSEP Work Tape data for all Apollo missions for the time span of 01 March 1976 through ALSEP termination on 30 September 1977; high-bit-rate ALSEP Work Tape data from only Apollo 17 Lunar Surface Profiling Experiment; only those portions of the data where seismic signals were detected by long-period instruments from Apollo stations; supplemental PSE and seismic events data; data of specially selected deep moonquake, major meteoroid impact, all shallow moonquake and all artificial impact events; seismology and meteorology data from Viking Lander 2 on the Martian surface in the 1976-1978 period; copies of all documents and ancillary data files produced during the generation the original tapes containing these data.
