Description:
Log book scan for sensor rotation calibration (SRC) to determine absolute scale
factors and relative alignment of the magnetometer sensor axes. The measurements
were conducted at the NASA Wallops, VA, magnetic coil facility.

Scale factor: Recorded are the time of observation in seconds elapsed since an
arbitrary reference time MET=0 and the A/D counts for the three axes (X, Y, Z)
for 27 distinct sensor orientations. The sensor rotation calibrations were
conducted for field strengths of 10,001.5 nT and 50,008 nT.

Azimuth alignment: Recorded are the calibration coil field strength and axis and
the A/D counts for the three axes (X, Y, Z). The optically measured azimuth
angle was 92.4 deg with respect to the +Z axis of the calibration coil system.
