        of Mercury at a resolution of 1000m/pix by 1000m/pix, true at the
        pole in polar stereographic (spherical) projection, based on altimetry
        data acquired by the MLA instrument.  The MLA Laser data through 
        Mercury Orbit Year 5 are the source for this gridded product.      
        The ground tracks are interpolated using the Generic Mapping Tools
        programs 'mapproject', 'blockmedian' and 'surface'. The map is in the
        form of a binary table.  Map values are relative to a radius of 2439.4 km.        
        This label describes an IMG file in the form of a binary resampling with
        pixel registration.
