The Decom/Decal File consists of a set of ASCII-formatted SFDUs necessary to locate and interpret channelized data. The Decommutaion Map consistes of a listing of all channels in the Enginnering frame, the length of each in bits, the offset of each into the data are, and the value of any parameter that must be specified to ascertain its existence. Also included is the name for the location of the channel, infromation not required for machine interpretation. The decalibration data consists of four ASCII SFDUs. The first contains references to all channels specifying in each case the name, type, the unit of measure, alarm limits, and pointers to following SFDUs containing additional information. The second of these provides titles for the different states of each status-type channel. The third provides DN-EU correlation parameters for the plynomial (cal-curve) typeof conversion. The fourth provides DN-EU correlation parameters for the table look-up (interpolation) type of conversion. For more information, refer to SES-115, Decommutation Report Form, JPL, August 1, 1998, and TPS-129, MGN Decalibration File to DMD, December, 1987." END
