      The CALIB directory holds Calibration Files for Magellan bistatic       
radar experiments.                                                            
                                                                              
      The first type of file in the Link Monitor and Control (LMC) log        
from the DSN station collecting the radio science data.  The LMC log is       
a record of operator commands and system responses (and warning messages)     
during the experiment period.  Each LMC log is a text file accompanied by     
a detached PDS minimal label.  The file name has the form  018aaddd.LMC       
where 'aa' denotes the antenna number (for example, 63) and 'ddd' is the      
3-digit day-of-year.  LMC logs are described in file LMC.TXT in the           
DOCUMENT directory.                                                           
                                                                              
      The second type of calibration is a document, appendix, and             
figures which give the radiation pattern for the Magellan high-gain           
antenna (HGA).  A pair of JPL Inter-Office Memoranda describe the             
antenna pattern measurements and results; these files are in plain            
unmarked ASCII.  Figures are included as individual encapsulated              
PostScript files and also as Version 1 (black and white) regular PostScript   
files.  All material (except the detached PDS label which covers the entire   
package) was scanned from hard copy.
