     The DOCUMENT directory contains documentation on the archival data       
set and files within the data set.                                            
                                                                              
     DOCINFO.TXT, this file, is a summary of the contents of the DOCUMENT     
directory.  It is an ASCII file with an attached PDS label.  The file has     
fixed length records with 80 characters per record.  Each record ends with    
an ASCII carriage-return line-feed pair in positions 79 and 80.               
                                                                              
     TIMELINE.TXT is a reconstructed time line for the Magellan S-Band        
bistatic radar experiments conducted using DSS 63 on 5 June 1994.  This is    
an ASCII file with an attached PDS label.  The file has fixed length          
records with 80 characters per record.  Each record ends with an ASCII        
carriage-return line-feed pair in positions 79 and 80.                        
                                                                              
     AMBCALIB.LBL is the label defining a PDS document which summarizes the   
amplitude calibration procedure.  Included in the document is an ASCII file   
which describes the procedure (AMBCALIB.ASC) and six JPEG files               
(AMBCAL{R,L}{1,2,3}.JPG) which illustrate the results, particularly as        
regards compensation for insertion and removal of 15 dB attenuation when      
strong signals were expected to be present.  AMBCALIB.ASC has fixed length    
records with 80 characters per record; each record ends with an ASCII         
carriage-return line-feed pair in positions 79 and 80.  The JPEG files are    
binary.
