      <description>
        The srf collection contains power spectra for the RCP and LCP channels
        which were used to 'equalize' (flatten) the spectral response of the filters
        in the receiving system. Since the filtering is entirely digital, there
        is no reason to believe that the RCP and LCP noise power spectra would
        differ; but separate srf files have been derived for the two channels.
        Standard deviation of individual frequency bins is about 1.3 percent of the
        mean.
