YYYY/DDD DSS DSP SAMP BW DSP BIT TRK REC RECS RECS FIRST START STOP RATE MODE RESN MODE LEN MSSG SNR -------- --- -------- -------- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ---- ----- ---- ----- 1997/092 15 05:57:30 07:00:00 5000 2500 2 12 1-W 1666 18750 0 ~64. Anomalies --------- Retransmission of three parts of the 97/088 KaBLE/USO test data set was completed last night. There are now no missing records in that data set; however, one duplicate record in the third time interval (05:22:38-05:52:38) was obtained in our re-query to the NERT Cache. Analysis of those test data is underway. Apparently because of the earlier retransmission of the KaBLE/USO data, the DSP did not come up in the proper mode and almost half of the Test #10 time was lost; DR G01990 was submitted. Trish reported "error-free" data originally, but did a retransmission anyway. We have found no missing or duplicate records and no POCA time tags out of order in the data from Test #10. Spectra from the 62.5 minutes of data that were obtained show sidebands on either side of the carrier every 60 Hz to at least +/-300 Hz (Figure 1). The sidebands at +/- 60 Hz are about 35 dB below the carrier. Amplitude of the sidebands was fairly constant throughout the test period. With both telemetry and ranging off, the 64 dB SNR is among the highest we have observed and may be one of the reasons we have not seen these sidebands before. There is no sign of the +/-650 Hz sidebands that have been common in other tests at this sampling rate. Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from OSCAR and EPIC: Original File Name Name on SOPC ------------------------------ ------------ ATDF: ODF: 97091C092.DAT;2 7091092A.ODF IONCAL: TROPCAL: WEATHER: UTPM: EOP: Figure Captions =============== HEA7092A.PS1. Power spectrum from near the end of USO Test #10. Side- bands are spaced every 60 Hz on both sides of the carrier. Spectral resolu- tion for this plot is 4.88 Hz, and the peak (at approximately 57 dB SNR at this resolution) has been clipped. Figures ======= Plot(s) illustrate some of the points made in the text. Each plot is a PostScript file, created and printable on our SOPC. For report text file HEAydddC.TXT Figure N will be labeled HEAydddC.PSN and sent as the N+1st e-mail message of a set. We assume that you can strip off the e-mail headers and either display or print copies of the figures on a machine in your area. People who have indicated that they cannot handle these files by e-mail are not included in the e-mail distribution of figures.
