     Spacecraft has returned to taciturn mode; less than 1 MB in channelized
engineering data and no data from Radio Science channels except that L-0080
shows USO power remains ON.

     John Armstrong has examined GWE data from 97/120 (DSS 65) and finds a
very regular oscillation in amplitude of about 0.1 dB peak-to-peak and period
about 4.5 sec (near UT midnight + 76120 sec).  Concurrently, there is an
oscillation in frequency with amplitude 0.025 Hz (peak-to-peak) and an
identical period.  The frequency oscillation trails the amplitude
oscillation by what appears to be 90 degrees of phase.  John is continuing
to investigate.
