You can see SCP data going by. You can also do this by typing sfdulist MGSTISB6 tds_viewer is better for Radio Science because ods data is not broadcast. I took today's data at 200 sps, 100 Hz bandwidth, 12-bits, mode 1. Working on s/w to automate data handling, so have not tried to get any other files (yet). Trish has mentioned "spurs"; it appears to me that the distribution of sample values is not symmetric, suggesting a non-linearity in the receiving system or A/D conversion. With high SNR, non-linearities could lead to harmonics in the output -- appearing as aliased images of the carrier. Probably not something that would have been seen with GLL; but makes you wonder whether the new A/D is working as advertised (assuming the RF/IF is OK). I'm not going after 2-way data, but can do so if there's a reason. Don't request retransmission of any of these 5000 sps files for us. I'd rather look at the DOY 323 data (if we need to) for retransmission. Joe is going to look at the DOY 320 data, to see whether having no missing records improves estimates of Allan Deviation. Assume you know DOY 320 data were collected in DSP Mode 2. Channels with no signal still have spurs at 20 and 60 Hz, indicating that source is after attenuators. Will FAX plots shortly. Joe says he and Dave don't find these in GLL files.
