I was interested is seeing in what way the beam waveguide station might be "different", so I had a look at it. For several reasons (but mostly the intolerance of my software for inconsistencies between POCA, POCA rate, and time tags), I could not get through to the point of residual frequencies. But I thought that the amplitude time series might interest you, if you have not already analyzed this data set. Alternate half cycles of the (apparent) ~91 minute spin period show much more amplitude modulation. Presumably this is due to the position of the LGA and the orientation of the s/c relative to the earth-s/c line. But, in any case, I am suggesting that I fax this plot to you, for information, possible interest, and any comment you might have. May I have your fax number? Trish told me there was no DSP software that would work with the BWG systems, so we've been expecting only closed-loop. Sounds as though things haven't been that quiet after all. We've seen strong, rapid amplitude fluctuations in earlier data; but I hadn't correlated them with the 100 minute rotation cycle. What we've seen has tended to be on shorter time scales. This was not done using the new DSP software since the software will not be installed until around Jan. 31st. The data set was complete because it comes from an exabyte tape. All RSC-11-13 data is from a tape. All RSC-11-11B data is from TOT query. I will get the DSS 25 location for you. -Trish
