This means the Radio Science Team at Stanford has received or generated 200,000 files in the course of its investigation. The current count of raw data archival CDs is 443 (about 265 GB) and the count of reduced data CDs is 11. But the majority of entries in the data base are for files produced as intermediate products during radio occultation data reduction and analysis. Joe says entry #200000 was a POWERFIT file -- the output of a processing step which automatically determines the amplitude and frequency of the radio carrier during an occultation. He adds that entry #100000 was made on 31 August 2000 and also appear to have been a POWERFIT file. For each tracking pass listed above, F2 data was available but the SRA data wasn't. ISA Z71941 has been written to document this problem which appears to be an error in the project SOE. Also, these range outages seem to only occur for the HEFs.
