Analyses -------- Joe Twicken has been processing radio occultation data from Beta Supplement in early 2000. Ordinarily he prefers to use the Radio Science Team orbit reconstructions (GDN files from Goddard, or IPN files from JPL) rather than the NAV Team SPK reconstructions. He had been using GDN files, but found them to be unsatisfactory so switched to IPN files. He reports: I have processed all of the ODR's from 2000/061 with both the Goddard (GDN) and JPL (IPN) trajectory reconstructions. Both orbit types seem to be deficient on that date for 6 (of 12) recordings, and the orbits appear to be either both okay or both not okay for all of the recordings that I processed.
