A small number of DSS 43 recordings have the same affliction. Data from DSS 63 on 2001/364 also have spurs at +/-30 Hz. All ingress occultations are obscured by the HGA rewind. These start with occultation 12548i (DSS 63, 2001/362-14:44:00) and repeat every 117 min until occultation 12612i (DSS 54, 2002/002-20:20:00). The first HGA sidelobe during the rewind appears to be getting weaker, consistent with our nearing the end of this interference. There have also been occasional hints of surface reflections prior to the HGa rewind during the past week. Data from DSS 43 often have unstable carrier levels and/or lower SNR than expected. These anomalies can be present at DSS 43 even when another antenna at SPC 40 is also tracking MGS and showing no anomalous behavior.
