The egress occultation is at 21:59:34 (21.993 hours). At 22:02:34 (22.043 hours) a solar array adjustment begins; about 25 s later the radio carrier rises about 0.18 dB, falls, and then returns to its original level. The frequency residuals have not been corrected for spacecraft attitude changes (CK file) and HGA gimbal changes (AGK file). In this figure, the anomaly is at or above the detectable atmosphere and little or no error is expected in the retrieved temperature-pressure profile. The frequency anomaly of -40 mHz compares to a frequency shift on the order of 10 Hz in the deepest part of the atmosphere. Figures ======= Plot(s) illustrate some of the points made in the text.
