verify. Data collected from DSS 15 since 2002/044 have had ~2 dB lower SNR than normal for DSS 15 prior to that date. The decline in SNR was first noticeable in occultations 13126i through 13130i (start times 2002/044-20:58:00 through 2002/045-04:49:00) from an SNR of 52.2 to 50.8 and continued to decrease from 50.1 to 48.9 in the 2002/046 pass. The carrier signal during occultation 13143e (DSS 15; start time 2002/046-05:00:00) disappears (15 dB drop) a couple minutes into the recording. This looks like it could have been caused by the ground antenna being off point. Data collected from DSS 45 occultation 13145i (start time 2002/046- 10:15:00) had SNR 10dB lower than expected. Data from DSS 45 occultation 13155i (start time 2002/047-05:53:00) had a -3dB carrier level dropout spread over 30 s about 3.5 minutes prior to the occultation. Data from DSS 45 occultation 13157e (start time 2002/047-08:28:00) had a free-space carrier level 15-20 dB below expectations. Data from DSS 45 occultation 13157i (start time 2002/047-09:48:00) had a free-space carrier level 2-4 dB below expectations with a superposed +/- 0.7 dB random fluctuations. Carrier level in the recording from occultation 13160e (DSS 65; start time 2002/047-14:22:00) had a -1 dB dip lasting about 2 min. This looks like it could be due to spacecraft antenna pointing. Data collected from DSS 45 occultations 13169i and 13170e (start times 2002/048-09:21:00 and 09:59:00 respectively) both had free-space carrier levels about 2 dB down with +/- 1 dB random oscillations. Data collected from DSS 15 occultation 13174e (start time 2002/-48-17:50:00) were lost due to a scripting error. The following occultation 13174i was scheduled to start at 2002/048-19:10:00 but started over 4 minutes late at 2002/048-19:14:20, about 2 minutes before ingress.
