Miscellaneous
=============

     The following was compiled based on reports from Jesse Glance, Eugene
Brower, and Aseel Anabtawi:

  As of late yesterday the spacecraft was nadir-pointed with communications
  via the high gain antenna.  However, STAREX processing wasn't yet stablized.
  This is important because, even though the Mars Horizon Sensor Assembly
  controls pitch and roll, it doesn't control yaw.  ROTO's will be suspended
  for the first part of Beta Supplement to give the Spacecraft Team a chance
  to characterize MGS at the Relay-16 Beta-Supplement orientation.  If the
  required blocks have been delivered and ASP is capable of creating ROTO
  mini-sequences, ROTO's may resume as early as the week of March 25.  Radio
  Science measurements are expected to resume later today after the sequence
  (mm159b) gets uplinked at around 066/0000 UTC.
