   HEA2088A.PS1: Mars Earth Beta Angle for 2001-2004.  In early June 2003,    
                 Beta decreases to about 1 degree, its smallest value since   
                 early 2001 when it passed through zero.  When Beta is zero,  
                 the orbit plane appears edge on if viewed from Earth.  When  
                 Beta is larger than about 60 degrees, there are no           
                 Earth occultations.  In early June Earth-Mars distance is    
                 about 0.72 AU; opposition is the last week of August 2003    
                 (0.373 AU).  This figure was provided by Pat Esposito of
