The carrier returned to normal levels about 2 minutes before ingress. Data from DSS 15 occultation 14008i (start time 2002/116-23:45:00) had +/-0.2 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude. Data from DSS 15 occultation 14009i (start time 2002/117-01:43:00) had +/-0.5 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude in addition to a -1 dB notch in the carrier amplitude 20 s before ingress. Data from DSS 15 occultation 14010i (start time 2002/117-03:40:00) had SNR 2 dB lower than expected, with +/- 1 dB random fluctuations in the carrier amplitude. This was the last measurement of the DSS 15 pass. In the next DSS 15 pass, the first occultation (14016i, start time 2002/117-15:27:00) had SNR 2 dB lower than expected with +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier amplitude. Data from DSS 15 occultation 14020i (start time 2002/117-23:18:00) had a noisy (-1 dB drift with +/-0.2 dB fluctuations) carrier amplitude. Data from DSS 15 occultation 14021i (start time 2002/118-01:16:00) had weak periodic modulation on the carrier, with an amplitude of 0.5 dB and period of about 3 minutes, in addition to SNR 2 dB lower than expected. The following occultation, 14022i (start time 2002/118-03:13:00) had a square-wave modulation on the carrier amplitude, this time with an amplitude of 1 dB and the same 3 minute period. The SNR was also 2 dB lower than expected. Occultation 14022i was the last measurement in the pass.
