Occultation 14139i had a -1 dB drop in the noise level over 60 s at about 60 s after ingress, similar in nature to those reported for occultations 14126i and 14127i (start times 2002/126-15:18:00 and 17:16:00) in MGS health report HEA2128A.TXT. The next pass for DSS 65 on 2002/128 for occultations 14147i through 14153i (start times 2002/128-08:31:00 through 20:17:00) had even worse SNR performance, with SNR levels up to 5 dB lower than expected on all measurements except 14150i. For all of the measurments with low SNR, there was a -2 dB drop in the noise level over 60 s at about 60 s after ingress with the same characteristics (exponential-shaped dropoff) as in previous passes from DOY 126 and 127. Two of the measurements from the 2002/127 pass on DSS 65 (occultation 14137i and 14138i) were also collected on DSS 63 with no anomalies, which indicates that the source is probably at DSS 65. Data collected from DSS 15 occultation 14142i (start time 2002/127-22:42:00) had a -1 dB drop in the noise level about 90 s after ingress. Data collected from DSS 15 occultation 14144i (start time 2002/128-02:38:00) had +/-1 dB sinusoidal modulation on the free-space carrier amplitude with period of about 2 min.
