The first measurement in the DSS 65 pass, occultation 14294i (start time 2002/140-08:58:00) had +/-0.2 dB of noise on the carrier. Measurements from DSS 15 still showed evidence of the same SNR degradation (up to 5 dB lower than expected) as reported in yesterday's health report, HEA2140A.TXT. The gain/SNR for each measurement from the DSS 15 pass are listed in the table below: Occultation Start Date/Time Gain in dB SNR in dB ----------- ----------------- ------------ ----------- 14300i 2002/140-20:44:00 4 dB low 4 dB low 14301i 2002/140-22:42:00 4 dB low 4 dB low 14302i 2002/141-00:40:00 4 dB low 4 dB low 14303i 2002/141-02:37:00 5 dB low 5 dB low The following occultations had changes in noise level after ingress: Occultation Start Date/Time DSS # Amplitude Time after ING ----------- ----------------- ----- --------- -------------- 14289i 2002/139-23:09:00 25 -1 dB about 2 min 14290i 2002/140-01:07:00 25 +1 dB about 2 min 14294i 2002/140-08:58:00 65 +1 dB about 2 min 14299i 2002/140-18:46:00 65 -1 dB about 2 min No occultations were collected at two different antennas.
