This occultation was successfully captured at DSS63, however. Data collected from DSS 65 occultation 14394i (start time 2002/148-13:11:00) had a +1 dB step in the noise level about 140 s after ingress. Data collected from DSS 63 occultation 14396i (start time 2002/148-17:07:00) had +/-0.5 dB random carrier fluctuation over the duration of the measurement. Data collected from DSS 63 occultation 14397i (start time 2002/148-19:04:00) had a -1 dB notch in the carrier amplitude over 30 s that ended ~ 220 s before ingress. This measurement also had +/-0.2 dB random carrier fluctuations and was the last measurement of the pass. Four occultations were captured at two antennas simultaneously. The DSS 45 data were listed in yesterday's report (HEA2148A.TXT).
