Both HEA2165A.TXT and HEA2168A.TXT contain more detailed summaries of the carrier levels for recent measurements at DSS 54. Two measurements collected from DSS 15, however, had carrier levels up to 1.5 dB higher than the expected range. Occultation 14643i (start time 2002/168- 21:46:00) had a carrier level of -2.5 dB, and occultation 14644i (start time 2002/168-23:44:00) had a carrier level of -3.5 dB. The first measurement from the DSS 15 pass, occultation 14642i (start time 2002/168-19:48:00) had no signal. The beginning of the track was scheduled for 19:45:00, so it is possible that this measurement was lost due to a delayed BOT. This measurement was successfully captured by DSS 65, however. There was also a +1 dB noise level step about 40 seconds after ingress for occultation 14644i collected from DSS 15 (start time 2002/168-23:44:00). The last measurement from the DSS 15 pass, occultation 14645i (start time 2002/169-01:41:00) had SNR levels about 1 dB lower than expected with +/-0.3 dB random fluctuations in the free-space carrier level, possibly due to approaching EOT. The last measurement collected from DSS 65, occultation 14642i (start time 2002/168-19:48:00) had both carrier gain and SNR levels about 1 dB lower than expected, probably due to approaching EOT. All three measurements collected from DSS 34 had both carrier gain and SNR levels about 2 dB lower than expected. Occultation 14645i (start time 2002/169- 01:41:00) had carrier gain and SNR levels about 2 dB lower than expected. Occultations 14646i and 14647i (start times 2002/169-03:39:00 and 05:37:00) had carrier gain and SNR levels about 1.5 dB lower than expected.
