This occultation was captured at DSS 54, however. Three measurements from the same DSS 15 pass suffered from signal losses on the order of 1-2 dB that lasted on the order of ~ 100 seconds and that occurred roughly every ~ 100 seconds. The dropouts appear in the data when telemetry was on, when telemetry was off, and in the noise after ingress. The symptoms would be consistent with another maser power supply problem, such as happened a few weeks ago. The carrier gain and SNR levels of the three signals with dropouts were about 2 dB higher than expected, with an A/D level at about -3 dB (compared with 0 for full scale) instead of around -5 dB as in the normal measurements. Due to a scripting error, three measurements from DSS 54 were lost (occultations 14795i, 14796i, and 14797i with start times 2002/181-08:00, 09:58, and 11:56).
