There are still some bugs in the DOM interaction, which we are working out. Tomorrow is a holiday, and staffing may be inadequate to generate a report on Friday. If so, the next report will be on 8 July. All four measurements collected from DSS 34 had carrier amplitude and SNR levels between 1 dB and 3 dB lower than expected as summarized below. Max SNR values around 48.5 dB / Hz and carrier levels about -5 dB (relative to full scale at the A/D converters) are considered normal. Plateaus in radio occultation data (for example near days 700 and 1400) occurred because there were no occultations. Highest open loop data rates are at the beginning and end of occultation seasons when both ingress and egress data can be collected. Data rates during Beta Supplement operations are lower because only ingress occultations can be observed regularly." Figures ======= Plot(s) illustrate some of the points made in the text. Each plot is a PostScript file, created and printable on our SOPC. For report text file HEAydddC.TXT Figure N will be labeled HEAydddC.PSN and sent as the N+1st e-mail message of a set. We assume that you can strip off the e-mail headers and either display or print copies of the figures on a machine in your area.
