These variations will not be reported for individual occultations in daily reports for the next month or so. The first two out of three measurements from DSS 45 (occultations 15145i and 15146i, start times 2002/209-22:42:00 and 2002/210-00:40:00) were lost due to a scripting error. The third measurement from DSS 45 (occultation 15147i, start time 2002/210-02:37:00) had +/-0.5 dB sinusoidal modulation, with period of about 20 seconds, before telemetry off and in the noise level after ingress. The modulation appeared very similar to that observed for occultation 15135i at DSS 45 (start time 2002/209-03:05:00) as mentioned in report HEA2210A.TXT. The first measurement collected from DSS 65, occultation 15149i, (start time 2002/210-06:33:00) had carrier gain and max SNR levels about 2 dB lower than expected. The following occultation was captured at two different antennas: Occultation Start Date/Time DSS #1 DSS #2 ----------- ----------------- ------ ------ 15154i 2002/210-16:21:00 65 15 Closed Loop Data ================ Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from OSCAR: Original File Name Name on SOPC ------------------------------------ ------------ ODF: 02207O209_10S.SJO;1 2207209A.ODF ODF: 02209O210_10S.SJO;1 2209210A.ODF WEATHER: WEATHER_10_LATEST.TXT;331 20012101.WEA WEATHER: WEATHER_40_LATEST.TXT;331 20012104.WEA WEATHER: WEATHER_60_LATEST.TXT;331 20012106.WEA Ancillary Data ============== Data Collection --------------- We have obtained the following files from the DOM: Original File Name Name on SOPC ------------------------------------ ------------ AMD: amdgen.02-210.out 2208208B.AMD AMD: amdgen.02-211.out 2209210A.AMD DKF: mm200c.00.dkf 2214226D.DKF DKF: mm200c.01.dkf 2214226E.DKF DKF: mm201b.01.dkf 2227232B.DKF OPT: optg_040301-050101_020416 4092001A.OPT SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-195.ck 2195195A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-196.ck 2196196A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-197.ck 2197197A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-198.ck 2198198A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-199.ck 2199199A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-200.ck 2200200A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-201.ck 2201201A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-202.ck 2202202A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-203.ck 2203203A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-204.ck 2204204A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-205.ck 2205205A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-206.ck 2206206A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-207.ck 2207207A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-208.ck 2208208A.SAK SAK: mgs_solar_array_2002-209.ck 2209209A.SAK SOE: mm200c.00.tsoe 2214227D.SOE SOE: mm200c.01.tsoe 2214227E.SOE SOE: mm201b.01.tsoe 2227232B.SOE SPK: spk_031201-040401_020415 3335092A.SPK SPK: spk_040401-040801_020416 4092214A.SPK SPK: spk_040801-050101_020416 4214001A.SPK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-195.ck 2195195A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-196.ck 2196196A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-197.ck 2197197A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-198.ck 2198198A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-199.ck 2199199A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-200.ck 2200200A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-201.ck 2201201A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-202.ck 2202202A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-203.ck 2203203A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-204.ck 2204204A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-205.ck 2205205A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-206.ck 2206206A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-207.ck 2207207A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-208.ck 2208208A.TCK TCK: mgs_spice_c_kernel_2002-209.ck 2209209A.TCK Anomalies --------- As reported yesterday (HEA2210A.TXT), we have had problems generating PDS labels and reformatting some ancillary data files. With help from Boris Semenov of NAIF, we determined that the anomalous files were solar array kernel (SAK) files covering days 2002/196-202 which contained a leading blank line after the original SFDU label had been stripped off. Boris suggested using a newer version of the SPACIT utility, which is apparently unaffected by the leading blank line; we then removed the line by manually editing each of the 7 files. More recent files do not have the leading blank line, but we have submitted ISA Z76944 to document the problem.
